Project Requirements

Mount Forest Mini-Storage is a family owned and operated storage facility serving clients in and around the Mount Forest, Ontario areas since 1995.

We were approached by the owners who wanted to create a new web site to promote the storage facilities services. The requirements called for a clean, well organized site, with simple navigation, allowing visitors to find the information they needed quickly. A content management system was also required to provide the capability for staff to manage all aspects of the site content.

Implementation

Drupal was chosen as the content management system, and a customized version of the Arthemia Drupal theme was developed. A mix of core Drupal functionality and contributed modules was also used, providing the framework necessary to satisfy the requirements for the look and feel of the site.

The resulting website achieves each of the established goals for design and functionality, and the back-end system provides intuitive controls for updating content required for a compelling user experience.

Project Features

Logo Design

Part of the project included the development of a new logo for display on the web site, and in print media.

Easy Content Management

Special consideration was given to minimize training requirements for managing site content wherever possible. For example, staff members with appropriate permissions can easily edit any of the main content and blocks just by hovering over the specific section.

Table Field Integration

Integration of the TableField Drupal module provides the back-end functionality for creating and displaying storage rates details in a simple to use form.
