Madrona Marketplace, is a new retail development on Gabriola Island, BC that is being built by Intrascape Developments, a locally owned company that cares how Gabriola Island is being developed and wants to ensure that the community sustains its diversity and viability.
The Media Salon was chosen to create a new web site to promote this vibrant 30,000 sq ft commercial development that when completed, would add much needed year round employment and services in this amazing Gulf Island setting.
Implementation
Drupal was chosen to provide the platform required to easily update content and allow site owners to provide timely updates on the progress for development of Phase 2. A variety of custom forms were designed to simplify the content management, along with the Views 2 and Panels 3 contributed modules used to control content display.
The site uses an easy to navigate menu to effectively promote the development of Madrona Marketplace Phase 2 as well as the companies who have chosen the completed Madrona Marketplace Phase 1 as their business location.
All of the photography shown was developed by The Media Salon, and is set against a bold design that mirrors the developer's corporate site.
